Can I use fresh Salmon Filets?
You certainly can. The filets will give a fresher flavor to the dish. This recipe does call for canned, however, nothing will need to be adjusted if you opt for fresh salmon over canned.

What dipping sauce do you recommend?
Personally, I do not use a dipping sauce, I prefer the taste of the savory Salmon pattie untouched by dipping sauces. I do, however, provide sauce for my crew at home. I put out Tartar Sauce, Cocktail Sauce and Ranch.
