Ingredients
4 cups Elbow Macaroni
1 tbsp olive oil
1-pound lean ground beef
1 large yellow onion, diced
2 tsp garlic cloves, freshly minced
1 green pepper, deseeded and diced
3 ½ cups canned Diced Tomatoes
1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Add water to a pot over medium heat. Once the water is hot, add elbow macaroni and cook
according to package directions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
2. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
3. Once the oil is hot, add ground beef and cook until the color turns brown.
4. Drain excess grease and add green peppers, diced onions, and garlic to the skillet.
5. Sauté for 5 minutes until vegetables are softened.
6. Add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, parsley, and Worcestershire sauce.
7. Stir to combine and sauté for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
8. Pour in diced tomatoes with their juice, reduce heat, and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
9. Add the drained cooked pasta to the skillet and stir gently to coat evenly.
10. Cover the skillet and continue to for an additional 3 minutes.
11. Once ready, dish out the Homestyle Goulash and serve immediately.
