These savory and cheesy sandwiches are perfect for a comforting lunch or dinner. Ground beef is simmered in creamy cheddar cheese soup and served on toasted French bread, then topped with melted cheddar for a crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp onion powder
10 3/4 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Dash of pepper
1 loaf French bread
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheeseInstructions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through.
Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Add Seasonings
Add minced garlic and onion powder to the skillet.
Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 3: Simmer in Cheese Soup
Stir in the condensed cheddar cheese soup, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4: Prepare the Bread
Preheat your broiler.
Slice the French bread into sandwich-sized portions.
Spread butter onto each slice and place them on a baking sheet.
Broil for 2–3 minutes or until the bread is lightly toasted.
Step 5: Assemble the Sandwiches
Spoon the meat mixture onto each slice of bread.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Broil for an additional 1–2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
