🌻 Roasted Pumpkin Seeds Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup raw pumpkin seeds (from a fresh pumpkin or store-bought)
1 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
½ tsp salt
Optional seasonings (choose your favorite):
½ tsp paprika or smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cinnamon & sugar (for a sweet version)
¼ tsp chili powder (for spicy seeds)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175°C / 350°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Clean the seeds:
Rinse pumpkin seeds in a colander to remove pulp and strings.
Pat them dry thoroughly with a paper towel (this helps them roast evenly and get crunchy).
Toss with oil & seasoning:
In a bowl, mix seeds with olive oil, salt, and any extra seasoning you like until well coated.
Spread evenly on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Roast for 15–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the seeds are golden brown and crispy.
(Keep an eye on them near the end — they can burn quickly.)
Cool completely before eating or storing.
Storage:
Store in an airtight jar at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or in the fridge for longer freshness.
